jessica’s story
Jessica received a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) diagnosis in her 30s. After growing up questioning the difficulties she faced, diagnosis was the answer that truly changed her life.
Jessica found her diagnosis not only opened up pathways to better support and care. She could start to show self-compassion for her past experiences and better understand how her brain works.
Now, Jessica’s forging a life of advocacy, raising the importance of early diagnosis, greater community awareness and prevention of FASD. By sharing her experiences, Jessica hopes that other families can feel empowered to find the answers they need and feel less alone.
